The woman who was straightened again

Luke 13:11-13

And, behold, there was a woman which had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years, and was bowed together, and could in no wise lift up herself.  And when Jesus saw her, he called her to him, and said unto her, Woman, thou art loosed from thine infirmity. And he laid his hands on her: and immediately she was made straight, and glorified God.

Maybe you think there is no hope, but allways there is hope in Jesus Christ

The Holy Spirit in the Word of God allows us to identify us with those situations and dilemmas of the people who Jesus meet when He came to save us and are in the bible to let us know that no matter how difficult could be the case, there is always hope in Him.

There are three characters in this story, perhaps you will find some point of relativity between her case and your own,

  1. The Person

  2. The problem

  3. The answer.

This reminds us that each person has different problems in their life, but even more important to remember is that for each problem God has an answer.

The woman in our story had a spirit of illness that had affected her life so much that after eighteen years she had literally condemned her to live looking down and there was no way to straighten her out. But when that woman received the call of Jesus, she received the word of freedom over her and then the hand of Jesus upon her body.

The healing process is clear, life that woman had been marked 18 years ago suffering as a result of an attack from the past.

Today many people live suffering because of the past, but God calls you today and speaks to you through his word to tell you that you are free, and his hand wants to pose on your situation.

Maybe your problem is rooted and with profound consequences to such an extent that you believe that you can no longer straighten up and start over, but Jesus has the answer, he has the power to put his hand on your life and do all things again.

"Maybe you think there is no hope, Jesus has the solution, the perfect recipe is in the bible, the word of God"

Hebrews 13: 8 says: Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, and today, and forever.

So, do not be afraid of the Lord's call. Come closer God bless you!

To Reflect and Pray:

Ask the Holy Spirit to examine your heart and help you forgive the people who have offended you and let off any guilt that prevents you from straightening your life.
